The story of Pastor Mark and his unfortunate wife Perpetua Udoka dates back to February 2000. Udoka who commenced a bright career in banking in a small town called Ogbaku near Owerri in Imo State innocently confided in a brother in the church who incidentally was the leader of the prayer squad of their local church at a time.
She solicited for the face of God concerning her proposals from three suitors who were seriously asking for her hand in marriage, a medical doctor, a fellow banker and a public servant. Her genuine intention was for this brother to join hands with her to seek for  God’s intervention  to enable her make the very best of decision. Unknown to her,

Bukola Saraki has ignored the intervention of Buhari, Obasanjo and the general public to go ahead with the purchase of exotic cars for the national assembly.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has taken delivery of new exotic cars purchased by the National Assembly management for his official use, brushing aside widespread criticisms against such lavish spending at a time of national economic crisis.

PREMIUM TIMES had exclusively reported that the Nigerian legislative body proposed to splash about N4.7 billion on at least 400 vehicles for leaders and members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

Among the proposed vehicles were 10 top-of-the-range cars for Mr. Saraki and his official convoy.

Speaking during a Channels TV programme, 'Politics Today', Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign promises were based on $100 per barrel oil, adding that current realities will make the government fall short of its promises.

Former President Obasanjo’s Son In Ghastly Auto Accident

Former President Obasanjo’s son, Oba, was in a ghastly auto accident today on his way from Ilesha in Osun state where he had gone to attend the 75th birthday party ceremony of his stepmother, Mabel.

An eyewitness said the car he was driving is now a write-off with occupants including Oba sustaining critical injuries.

Gianni Infantino Emerges as New FIFA President


Gianni Infantino has won the FIFA Presidential elections after getting majority of votes from all 207 FIFA member associations. He will be the FIFA President for the period of 2016 to 2019. He defeated Sheikh Salman, Priince Ali al-Hussein and Jerome Champagne.
The ExtraOrdinary FIFA congress and election which took place in Switzerland this afternoon went through the first round of voting, as a winner could only be determined if he won over 2/3 of the votes.
At the end of the first round, Prince Ali had 27 votes, Champagne 7 votes, Sheikh Salman 85 votes while Infantino had the highest with 88 votes.
For a candidate to win, 138 votes were needed for a two-thirds majority.
